Christmas is celebrated on 25th dcember every year. on that day people commemorate the birth of jesus the founder of Christianity People celebrate the festival by decorating the home they set up colourful Christmas tree hang with toy bell pepar stars and candles they also make special Christmas cack and enjoy the cultural holiday with family.
Christmas carols are sung on the eve of the festival gifts are given out to the festival gifts are given out to the children by santaclaus of father Christmas who comes wearing a red cap a red coat and white beard On several nights of Christmas, there is a nightly prayer meeting in the cathedral, which runs until 12 o’clock in the night. At 12 o’clock, people celebrate Christmas with their loved ones and celebrate happiness. There is a special prayer meeting in the churches of Christendom on the morning people exchange greeting and gifts on this occasion sending Christmas cards to friends and relatives has now become a popular custom thus Christmas is now so to say a festival for all the people irrespective of caste creed and religion
